While you are hit with radio waves all day long, those mentioned are all impuissant signals, from towers mile away. Radio vigor varies by distance abundantly, meaning twice as far, signal is at most 1/4 the vigor.
That verbally expressed, a wireless router/modem in the house itself is not dangerous, according to 'experts", but I would never leave a WiFi access point on my night table, where I sleep, so close...
Prevalent sense - don't put any WiFi more proximate than a foot or two from where you are most of the time (this includes your computer room...). WiFi runs at 2.4Ghz,the same frequency as your microwave oven, but at about 50 milliwatts (microwave oven is about 1000 watts - 20,000 times more vigorous). Same holds true for many cordless phones, etc.

Occasional exposure to 2.4Ghz is supposed to be safe, especially at low powers - your body can absorb that energy safely (turns to heat, just like microwave ovens heat raw meat. But keep it reasonable...put the WiFi signals away from most people are most of the time, like in the corner of the room, etc.It all depends if you believe the "experts" who verbally express it is safe - heck, smoking was deemed "safe" back in the 20's and 30's....
